The therapist are working hard with Chase to learn how to walk again. Since he's been using more body weight the past few days his muscles have been working more therefore causing him to be in even more pain. This has made him not to excited about walking anymore but he is SuperChase and will overcome this. We'll just stay positive and pray hard for him.

Pancreas is still healing so he is going to have to wait several weeks for real food. Rest is best for the healing of the pancreas. So we will continue what we call "Meals on Wheels." The good news is the cyst is getting smaller.

Chase had a fun weekend playing the Wii and EyeToy. This is GREAT exercise for his arms. He also had a good time playing cards, games, and bowling with those that came to visit him this weekend. He loved it!

Chase is still in good spirits but has started the "I am ready to go home" and is beginning to get really upset about it. It's been 31 days and he is missing his home and family. I can understand how he feels. This is alot for a 6 yr. old to endure and understand. Please PRAY that GOD will take this fear and anger away. He has come so far and we need him to continue to be strong and FIGHT.

Love,
Lisa

Hang in there little guy. I know it's tough not being at home but you are at the best place you need to be. God is working through all of those people helping you get stronger. Keep your chin held high and God will see you through all of this pain. Just look at how far you've already overcome. "He" hasn't let you down yet and "He" never will. Always remember that. You are doing great. We love you and Kent wishes he could come see you, but know that your in our hearts.

Levi wanted me to tell you to stay strong. He misses you everyday and he can't wait to read this blog when he gets home to see what all you can do each day. When he read that you were walking, he got so excited! He said "I knew he could do it, cause SUPERCHASE can do anything!" Just stay strong, and remember that we are all behind you and we love you very much!

PS. Levi hit a double in the first baseball game and he said he bet you would have hit a homerun!!
