What a wonderful day!! Chase was able to STAND UP w/ assistance for about 15 minutes. I was screaming with joy. He is working on his balance in a sitting position and moving from side to side. He still needs assistance with this but each day he seems to be able to have more control . He is also having to learn to balance himself with the halo which is difficult. Chase is having to work really hard on the mobility in his arms. He does not have as much movement in his arms as he does in his legs. We've come along way and thank God for every movement he makes each day. One thing that has not changed is Chase's personality. Even through all this pain he still makes us laugh.
I must say that Dylan is the best big brother ever. He is so strong and understanding that we must be away from home. I love you Dylan. You are my life.

What wonderful news!! Way to go, Chase. Chaney couldn't wait to get home and tell us about your progress. She checks the blog several times a day. She misses you so much at school. We love ya'll and are so happy to hear about the progress. Keep up the good work CHASE!!!

How WONDERFUL!!! i knew you could do it Chase:) You have touched so many lives and you are a blessing to all of us following your blog and to your parents. I know it has to be hard on Dylan being away from this parents and his little brother, but i am also praying for him. He got a call and someone told him about it and he was the first one there until the fire trucks and ems got there. Everyday Chase has been on our minds and in our hearts.
